Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) was founded in 1995 as a spin-off of the University of Innsbruck, a public comprehensive, research-oriented university. Among MCI's owners are also the Federal State of Tyrol and the City of Innsbruck, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Labor and the Association of Industrialists. MCI acts as an autonomous academic institution based on a public-private-partnership concept and is offering fully accredited bachelor’s, master’s & executive master's programs, short courses, tailored training, applied research solutions and other academic services.
Since its inception MCI has been very successfully developing and meanwhile it enjoys the appreciation of approximately 3,000 students, 1,000 internal & external faculty, more than 200 partner universities as well as numerous satisfied employers and successful alumni around the globe.
MCI's degree programs not only focus on topics related to business, management, law, tourism, health management and social affairs but also a broad range of technological fields fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, start-ups and similar functions. MCI has received numerous awards and acknowledgements - amongst them the prestigious AACSB accrediation for its business programs.
